Charter has a part time (3-4 days per week) position for an Assistant Project Manager to support its Project Management team in Melbourne. This position will provide exposure to managing multiple stages of a project, through its lifecycle. 

Core Responsibilities

You will be required to assist with a range of project management elements, including:

• Planning and design – coordinate meetings and prepare project schedules 
• Project Implementation – support with the tender process and strategy delivery 
• Project Monitoring and Control – ensure key deliverables are on track and highlight project risks
• Project Completion – assist with managing the completion of a project, including coordination of the defect and settlement process
• Produce monthly project reports 
• Support with Contract Administration

Position Requirements

• Completed or undertaking (final year) tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years project management experience, within a team environment
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Project management software experience advantageous (eg. MS Project)
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence 
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to the property or construction industry
