Senior Project Manager

Are you a Project Manager looking for an opportunity to step up into a Senior Project Manager role? Are you looking for autonomy?

Our Sydney office is looking for Project Manager who has experience in project delivery and superintendence.

This role will see you provide project and development management consulting services to projects in accordance with company procedures, service deliverables and, fee structures in a timely manner and to the client’s satisfaction.

Duties and tasks for projects will be as set out at project outset and allocated by the either the Director or Principal Director. Management of junior staff as required. Contribute to the marketing of services and specific business improvement and business development functions. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, projects from $10m to $80m autonomously.

The successful candidate will demonstrate;

• Competent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Bachelor of Building, Engineering or Architectural Degree. Similar degrees will be considered
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a project management role and a knowledge of the principles of Client side project management
• Knowledge of building industry contracts and sound construction administration practices
• Competent skills in Microsoft Office software (word, excel etc.) and Microsoft Project
• Efficient time management and organisational skills
• Valid drivers license / and vehicle
• Driven for challenges and success
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively, time management, design management, cost management, risk management and problem-solving  skills.
• Strong knowledge of project management and development management.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
