We have successfully completed projects in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Hobart, Newcastle, Canberra, and numerous other locations.

 

Our projects have encompassed work in the government, commercial, residential, religious, educational and health sectors often in central business districts, or in busy public spaces, requiring operational and safety expertise to work under such challenging circumstances. HBS maintain a permanent presence in Victoria and NSW and are available to offer our services to Clients in any location.

 

 

As a Contract Adminstrator with HBS Group you will be responsible for the day to day construction administration, support and financial control of projects.

 

Your responsibilities as Contract Adminstrator will include but will not be limited to:

 

  • Ensure the successful completion of projects within the parameters of program, quality assurance, WHS standards, budget and time frame.
  • Site establishment including, contracting including establishment of retention and insurances, creating and managing project budgets and OHS Systems are in place.
  • Ensure all day to day administrative and financial control requirements are being met.
  • Ensure OHS and company policies are being adhered to onsite
  • Liaise with clients, superintendents, architects and engineers, ensuring client expectations are maintained.
  • Ensure suitable labour is onsite to fufill the construction program targets.
  • Support Key project staff as required to carry out their role.
 
 
You will ideally demonstrate:

  • Prior experience managing construction projects. Exposure to government (particularly social housing) and Residential cladding sectors is desirable
  • At least 5+ years of CA experience
  • Degree or trade background with qualifications in construction related discipline such as Project Management, Construction, Architecture, Building Design or Engineering
  • Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret construction documents, project plans and architectural/engineering drawings
  • Ability to forecast and prepare budgets, conduct financial/business analysis
  • Manage all facets of project management including budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk for projects including WHS
  • Experience motivating and negotiating effectively with key employees, management, stakeholders and client groups to achieve desired outcomes
  • Competent in MS Office with knowledge in MS Project
  • Experience with managing contracts and construction practices.
