The Opportunity
The Signature Group is looking for A Project Manager to join the team. This is a full-time role based in South Melbourne, calling out for an upbeat personality with exceptional customer service skills that delivers impact every time. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of venue development and renovations. The role will also assist in the ongoing maintenance of venues and buildings, as well as management of The Sporting Globe, TGI Fridays and the head office building.
The person in this role will work closely with the Group Development Manager and Project Manager and the entire Development team to facilitate successful completion of projects from initial leasing and approvals, through design, tender, build and handover to the operations team.
About You
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Previous project planning and team management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate.
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Define the overall scope of the project and prioritise the tasks of the project
- Create and update project documentation
- Create accurate forecasts for revenue and resource requirements
- Focus on client satisfaction and liaise with contractors and supplies
