As a Contract Administrator with Pellicano your core purpose is to provide administration for allocated projects, ensuring that all company and contract objectives are achieved.

 

Your responsibilites as a Contract Administrator will include:

 

  • Competitive tendering of trade packages
  • Evaluate, compare and negotiate tenders 
  • Prepare subcontract orders through CHEOPs 
  • Evaluate and prepare invoices
  • Evaluate and prepare subcontract variations
  • Prepare contract variations
  • Attend site meetings as requested and prepare meeting minutes
  • Adherence to procedural documentation
  • Liaise with subcontractors and propose suitable subcontract tender list
  • Select suitable subcontractors and negotiate and prepare subcontract orders

 

Salary offer subject to experience level.

 

 

You will ideally demonstrate:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years prior full-time experience in a role as a Contract Administrator 
  • Reasonably solid understanding of the commercial building industry and the interrelationships between clients, builders, unions, consultants, councils and authorities in the state or territory in which the employment is based
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a contributing member of a team
  • Ability to display a willingness to contribute to the achievement of a Company’s strategic objectives (Vision & Mission)
  • Genuine, honest and forthcoming in all opinions and dealings
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with an excellent work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and professionally develop
