As a Site Manager with Pellicano your core purpose is to assist Project Manager through on site management of Projects allocated to you, ensuring that all company and contract objectives are met. 

 

Your responsibilites as a Site Manager will include:

 

  • Assist in the management of projects to achieve time and quality objectives
  • Assist in the management project team organization
  • Project planning and preparation of programme/s
  • Adherence to procedural documentation
  • Achievement of all OH&S Compliance requirements
  • Effectively use company resources
  • Adherence to plans and specifications
  • Contribute and follow construction schedule
  • Establish and maintain a safe and secure site
  • Ensure efficient use of day labour hire and company resources
  • Ensure sub-contract and purchase orders are fulfilled
  • Maintain and improve company quality standards
  • Provide alternative techniques in appropriate time for action
  • Attend meetings as directed
  • Maintain project specific IR and OHS

 

Attractive salary subject to experience level.

 

 

You will ideally demonstrate:

 

  • Trade qualifications in an appropriate discipline (desirable)
  • Extensive experience in site management, gained in a mid-sized Company in the Construction Industry.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Sound knowledge of all facets of a commercial construction business
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a contributing member of a team
  • Proven experience in co-ordinating trades and activities to contribute to the achievement of a Company’s strategic objectives (Vision & Mission)
  • Genuine, honest and forthcoming in all opinions and dealings
  • Effective communicator and decision maker
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm, with an excellent work ethic
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to provide sound leadership and resource management skills
  • Accredited qualifications on OH&S
  • Sound understanding of contractual implications in the construction industry
