With Point Polaris, an Assistant Project Manager is not just an assistant; you are instrumental in the full cycle of each project and have exposure to the services.


As Assistant Project Manager you will be responsible for:

 

  • Providing day to day support to Senior Project Managers / Associate Directors, Project Managers and in somecases, Development Managers across a range of Point Polaris projects. 
  • Accounting tasks including preparing and issuing paymentcertificates, invoices, creating budgets, monthly cost reporting and cashflow forecasting, preparing and requesting fee proposals from consultants and administering consultant agreements on each project.
  • Assisting in operational matters across projects including undertaking site inspections, coordinating consultant reports, assist in preparation of PCG reports, attendance and minuting of meetings, follow up of action items and managing communication and documentation.


Competitive salary package on offer, subject to experience.

 

 

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client-facing role within the property & construction industry.
  • Initiative & strong problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction, property, real estate or a related discipline
  • Able to conduct Design Reviews, Safety in Design, Pre-Construction and Value Management Reviews.
  • Proficient in preparing detailed Project Programmes in MS Project.
  • Intermediate skills in using Estate Master and MS Excel to manage development feasibilities prepared by the DM.
  • Budget planning, forecasting and cost reporting in accordance with project requirements.
  • Project reviews and reporting in accordance with project requirements.
