Project Coordinator

Harwyn is expanding and looking for a project coordinator.  Harwyn designs and manufactures state of art, beautiful pre-fabricated pods for homes, schools and businesses. 

 

The pods are fully manufactured locally in Melbourne in our factories in Carrum Downs and Dandenong, and transported nationally around the country.

 

We are looking for a motivated and highly driven Project Coordinator to coordinate the project activities including simple tasks and larger plans working with the production managers at the factories and head office to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and on budget.  

 

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Monitoring the daily build program and job progress and tackling any issues that may arise and updating as required – tracking dates and costs
  •  Obtain and monitor time sheets from all people on site. Ensure job allocation to times, for pumping into Xero
  • Attend production meetings and record decisions – actions and timelines
  • Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholder
  • Track expenses and predicting future costs
  •  Coordinate quality controls to ensure deliverables meet requirements
  •  Ensuring that all standards and requirements are met by conducting quality assurance tests
  • Managing suppliers and deliveries
  • Estimating costs for each job.
  • Keep and maintain detailed up to date documentation – contracts, invoices and financials
  • Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
  • Ensuring resources and equipment are always available

 

Salary subject to experience level.

 


Skills and qualifications

 

  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and gradual action plans
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi task
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good decision making skills
  • Proven work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, construction, engineering, project management or any other related discipline
