Brix also provides Development Management consulting to a select group of core clients.

 


An expanding portfolio of projects has enabled an opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to join our office in Brighton.

Reporting directly to both the Development Manager and the Managing Director, the role will involve assisting with all aspects of the development cycle from design, feasibilities, stakeholder management and sales and marketing on a mix of retail, commercial, industrial and residential developments.


Working across the diversified project pipeline you will gain experience in development process from start to finish working directly with an experienced Development Manager.


Whilst an entry level position, this role is ideal for a motivated and dynamic candidate who possesses a strong sense of autonomy and initiative and enjoys working in a small but innovative environment. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity across a variety of projects, with a leading privately owned developer then this position is ideal.

 


The ideal candidate is required to possess a strong understanding of development, construction and planning fundamentals and a good knowledge of the property industry. Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills are essential.


You will ideally demonstrate;


• Tertiary qualifications in property development, building/construction management or similar
• Strong problem solving abilities and a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills
• Experience or training in Estatemaster or similar feasibility and management software
• Good understanding of the property development process and lifecycle
• Willingness and desire to learn and develop alongside an experienced Development Manager
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
• Experience working in a related field is desirable but not essential
