Reporting to our New Business Manager, we are currently seeking a commercial Estimator to join our team.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Assess design documentation
• Assess the materials, labour and equipment required for a construction project
• Tender subcontract works and assess quotations
• Create drawing registers from initial documentation issued
• Prepare Bill of Quantity
• Calculate and compile cost estimates and tender sums
• Prepare internal cost plan document
• Conduct site visits as required

To be successful in the role, you will possess:

• Minimum 3+ years industry experience
• Experience with Education, Government or Council projects is essential
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience in the use of estimating software, ideally Cubit
• Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work accurately with figures
• Ability to price projects from estimating principles
• Understanding of construction techniques
• Full working rights in Australia
