The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our growing business.

The role will report directly to the Finance Director. Key responsibilties include;

Month end reporting
Management reporting
Project accounting and costing
Processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank recs
Settlement reporting
Intercompany accounting
Financial analysis and stakeholder engagement
Assist with annual tax and audit reviews
On time lodgment of PAYG/GST/FBT
Develop good working relationships with all levels of staff.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with relevant personnel.
Develop a sound knowledge of the Property industry.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally display the following attributes;

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Accounting Degree, CPA desirable
Relevant industry experience, preferably with a Property Developer
MYOB or Xero experience
AP & AR experience
Payroll experience
Experience in day to day finance roles such as bank recs, GL transactions
Detail focused
Able to multi-task
Proactive and questioning mind
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Computer competent including financial modelling. Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to interpret and implement corporate financial policies
Experienced at balance sheet reconciliations
Ability to meet very tight deadlines under pressure
Able to drive cost consciousness
