Senior Architectural Draftsperson

With over 50 staff, we are a unique business, which specializes in the construction of  multiple buildings simultaneously at our Kilsyth factories. We are a leader in the design, building and delivery of, architectural modular residential & commercial buildings in Australia.

A great opportunity exists to join a fast-growing construction company. We require a Senior Architectural Draftsperson to join our team working on multiple and complex residential & commercial projects. Working within a supportive and established structure, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Supervising 2 team members and providing regular updates to Management.
• Preparation of architectural drawings and documentation.
• Responsible for completing working drawings from preliminary issue through to full construction set
• Incorporating client requests into contract & construction documentation
• Managing the documents of multiple projects
• Contributing ideas to design development of products
• Responsible for problem-solving and working closely with the Project Managers and Sales team to ensure that there is cohesion and effective communication between the three departments.

• Completed an Architectural degree or Drafting qualification, or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience in the Construction Industry
• Developed skills in working with Revit
• A high level of attention to detail and be well organised
• Strong problem-solving skills
• An ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative
• A positive attitude and a desire to work in a dynamic environment
