The Opportunity
An immediate opportunity exists for a Project Manager, experienced in the data / electrical aspects of construction and fit out projects.
Working primarily in the education, healthcare and public sectors, you will have experience in working in these three key areas. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project plan for delivery of infrastructure in line with the project programme and budget and for producing regular and accurate status reports.
Salary offer subject to level of experience.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;
- Effective planning and management of construction communications, data, IT, cabling, infrastructure, telecomms, security, wi-fi and networking
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial data / electrical / IT installations
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
- Willingness work across multiple construction sites in and around Melbourne
- Thorough knowledge of all WHS requirements
- Electrical trade licence(s), Construction White Card
- Experience working in a Windows environment will be highly regarded
- Indepth knowledge of Electrical Standards, Quality and Work Health and Safety requirements
- Relationship builder familiar with local vendors throughout Victoria
- Able to engage with various stakeholders across varying technical units and streams.=
