Contract Administrator (Fiji based)

Since our inception in 2002, Sinclair Brook has been engaged in the formation and delivery of over $6 billion of real estate projects covering Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and internationally.

We currently have in excess of 7,300 apartments, 2,000 land lots/townhouses and a number of hotels either completed or underway. 

Sinclair Brook is appointed by Carpenters Properties Limited as Project Managers for the construction of a 13 level A grade Office Tower on the carpark of MHCC shopping centre in Suva, Fiji.

Background:

Sinclair Brook undertook a competitive tender for the construction of the Office Tower and recommended a hybrid delivery method that separates the structure, façade and roof from the services and warm-shell fitout.

The structure package has been let to China Civil and to be let to Specialist Trade Contractors for the remaining works.

Responsibility:
Sinclair Brook are required to perform the function of Project Manager to the Developer, Superintendent to the Design and Construct Contract and Manager to the Specialist Trade Contract.

The project is approximately 18 months in duration. Accomodation and travel allowance (to and from home) provided.

Salary offer to commensurate with experience. 

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator 
• Experience within the building and construction industry on medium-level multi-storey projects
• Willingness to travel and live in Fiji
• Ability to efficiently work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in cost reporting 
• Strong understanding and demonstrated experience in cost control 
• Advanced computer skills 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Possess a strong work ethic and safety-first culture
