TCON is restructuring the way we operate due to exciting company growth and require a Contract Administrator who will assist in estimating and tender submission. Initially you be working alongside the director of the company, learning contract administration and estimating. The role itself can be moulded to fit the right person and their ambitions for a permanent full-time position with long term prospects.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Involvement in the tender process from start to finish
  • Understanding various architectural and client contracts and administering them
  • Preparation of purchase orders for subcontractors
  • Identifying scope of works for projects
  • Monitoring progress throughout projects and taking minutes at site meetings
  • Issue and maintain variations, time extensions and progress claims
  • Coordinate Certificate of Occupancy and handover requirements
  • Manage and coordinate defects after handover
 


The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

 

  • Tertiary qualification or relevant trade experience
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Professional presentation both written and verbally
  • Proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly computer literate and ability to use Project Management software
  • Hold a current driver’s license
