Reporting to the Estimating Manager, we are now looking to appoint a driven Estimator.

• Prepare estimates/cost plans on projects
• Attend design reviews on projects and provide input through buildability intellect/ECI phase
• Lead a team in the preparation of bids/tenders
• Preparation of Trade Breakdowns, rated BOQ’s etc. as required
• Tender analysis of trade contractor submissions for compliance with project documentation and conditions of contract
• Attend post tender negotiation with clients and architects as required
• Build relationships with new and existing subcontractors, suppliers etc
• Assist with the development of new business for Buxton Construction

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;

• 3+ years Estimating experience
• Suitably qualified - Degree/Diploma/Trade Cert.
• Proven tenure and supporting references
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadline
• Excellent communication skills
