Project Manager

Prebuilt is a highly regarded, fast growing modular construction company based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

With over 50 staff, we are a unique business, which specializes in the construction of  multiple buildings simultaneously at our Kilsyth factories. We are a leader in the design, building and delivery of, architectural modular residential & commercial buildings in Australia.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage the delivery of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be required to manufacture high-end prefabricated projects in our purpose-built facility located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Manage the overall delivery including design resolution, manufacture and installation of projects
• Ability to take ownership of all architectural, structural and services detailing
• Deliver the works within budget, time, to excellent quality and to regulatory standards
• Monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly, and long-term project goals
• Manage contractual obligations and administrative requirements
• Manage and implement an effective procurement strategy in order to achieve all project timelines and ensure accurate and complete work scopes
• Planning and programming our buildings on the factory floor
• Ensuring production is run to the highest level of detail

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Engineering or Construction
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Project Manager or Senior Site Engineer
• Strong leadership skills required to push quality projects through on time and within budget
• A positive attitude, with a passion and commitment for the construction industry
• The capability to co-ordinate several construction projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly
• The drive to succeed
• An ability to work independently, use their initiative and be self-motivated
• Excellent Microsoft Office and MS Project skills
