Project Coordinator

Prebuilt is a highly regarded, fast growing modular construction company based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

With over 50 staff, we are a unique business, which specializes in the construction of  multiple buildings simultaneously at our Kilsyth factories. We are a leader in the design, building and delivery of, architectural modular residential & commercial buildings in Australia.

We are looking to recruit a recent Engineering or Building graduate, ideally with 3 years or more experience in the building/construction industry. Working within a supportive and established management structure, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Assisting with project coordination of multiple buildings of a highly technical nature
• Able to interpret drawings and understand technical details
• Ensuring that our production process is run to the highest level of detail and quality
• Generating and maintaining quality systems and processes for multiple building environments
• Managing and organising a procurement tendering process, as well as ongoing management of procurement\
• Contract Administration in conjunction with other experienced peers
• Working closely with, and assisting the Project Manager, who is responsible for both Commercial and Residential Projects

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Engineering or Building, or similar
• A positive attitude, with a passion and commitment for the construction industry
• An excellent eye for detail
• An ability to co-ordinate several complex construction projects simultaneously
• Effective organisational skills
• Strong verbal and written skills, including phone skills and manner.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including MS Project
• Experience using Databuild would be preferred but is not essential.
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment and will be committed to going above and beyond to get the job done.
• An ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
