Working Site Supervisor

Family owned and run, TCON builds high end Architectural renovations and luxury homes in Melbourne’s Inner East and surrounding suburbs. We operate as an efficient and proactive team of builders, project managers, site supervisors, trusted trades and the highest quality suppliers. TCON needs a Lead Carpenter/Supervisor for one of it’s exciting projects. Our current projects range from $1 - $3million and are all architecturally designed. The role itself can be moulded to fit the right person and their ambitions for a permanent full-time position with long term prospects.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Understanding various architectural plans and specifications
• Planning and controlling the job site, ensuring you are always one step ahead of schedule
• Establishing targets for yourself, your team and the project
• Using your Carpentry skills to lead by example to the highest standard
• Liaising with Construction Manager and Contract Administrator often
• Using a tablet and understanding the job schedule using the “Buildertrend” app
• Conducting SWMS, inductions and ensuring a safe job site
• Delivering a detailed project, on time and defect free
• Enjoying yourself and having fun

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;

• Qualified Carpenter (Minimum 5 years after your apprenticeship)
• Experience on high end Architectural builds
• Punctual, Self motivated and ability to teach others
• Occupational Health & Safety aware
• Client communication
• Contractor Management
• Professional presentation both written and verbally
• Proactive attitude and leads by example
• Excellent communication skills
