Contract Administrator

For over 90 years McCorkell Constructions has been proudly delivering a range of commercial projects for government, institutional and private clients.

With offices in Melbourne and Perth, McCorkell employs a team of around 80 specialists across both states to successfully deliver new builds, refurbishments, fit outs and conservation works over a range of categories including commercial, educational, apartments and industrial projects up to $40 million.

Due to sustained growth, McCorkell Constructions have a number of exciting opportunities for motivated and experienced employees in their Melbourne office. We are seeking a minimum of three years experienced Contracts Administrator who has practical knowledge of the local Perth commercial construction market and is looking for their next career progression.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing every stage of the project from beginning to handover.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Manage project activities throughout their lifecycle, including the subcontractor procurement and management, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success
• Track all project costs to fulfil financial reporting and ensure completion within budget
• Manage a variety of stakeholders including client, architect, subcontractors, consultants and team members.
• Ensure all company, client and project policies, and standards are adhered to.

Tertiary qualification in either Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying is essential for this role, and the ideal candidate will have around 3+ years commercial experience. You must be highly motivated with a desire to learn and progress into more senior roles.
