Project Manager

S&K Group is an established and growing high end residential and boutique commerical design and construct firm. Our office is located in Malvern, and we are currently working on a number of projects across the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

 

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and building projects to a high standard. We have long lasting relationships with our clients, sub-contractors, and external consultants; and recognise this is due to the hard work of the entire team at S&K Group.

 

 

We are looking for an extremely organised and proactive person with previous Project Management or extensive Contract Administration experience ready to take the next step in their career. We are a tight-knit team who work on exciting projects with high caliber architects and designers.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to manage and drive projects whilst simultaneously tendering upcoming projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about producing detailed and quality work.

 

Key Duties;

  • Management of sites independently
  • Manage contract variations
  • Financial budgeting, forecasting, cost control and programming
  • Prepare scope of works and subcontract agreements
  • Use of Workbench construction software
  • Procurement and scheduling
  • Document control
  • Administering multiple construction contracts
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients
  • Estimate detailed projects
  • Management and mentorship or junior staff.
  • Create reports for management and client review
  • Liaison with architect, engineers, subcontractors and client 

 

Salary package to commensurate with skills and experience. Applicants should be available to commence within 4 weeks of appointment.

 


The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate;


  • Proficient in Word, Excel, MS Projects and Construction Management software
  • Extensive estimating experience
  • Motivated to drive a job to completion and strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent negotiating, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team
  • Good organisational and time management skills 
  • Experience with multi-residential construction projects is favourable.
  • Knowledge of Workbench software is favourable
