We are seeking applications from motivated individual to join our Estimating team as a Junior Estimator. Highly talented, you will keep up with the demands of this position and add valuable input to our team. 

Details of the position:

• Full time position
• Member of the estimating team with a great working environment
• Document control of tender packages.
• Preparing sub-contract packages for trade pricing and using EstimateOne web portal.
• Preparing measurements using CostX
• Obtaining and receiving sub-contractor’s quotes.
• Reviewing trade pricing and assisting estimators in review of quotations and scope using CostX.
• Processing addendums including forwarding to sub-contractors.
• Collating and tracking trade data.
• Performaing tasks as requested by the Senior Estimator

Salary offer commensurate with experience.

Requirements for the position:

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience wanting a career in estimating
• Proven performance through successful tenders and bids in various sectors, commercial medium sized projects
• Proven track record in either an Estimating or QS role within Melbourne is an advantage
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
• EstimateOne and/or Bid Contender knowledge is an advantage
• CostX and/or Buildsoft knowledge is an advantage
• Strong organisation and time management skills 
• Ability to meet deadlines, show initiative and stay focused under pressure 
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships 
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills 
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Motivated, confident, ambitious with a willingness to grow in Estimating role
