Civil Estimator

D & D Excavations are a medium sized business specializing in excavation & civil construction.

We pride ourselves on delviering projects to a high standard, regardless of the size. We enjoy creating, and re-developing landscapes to new useable environments 

We currently have a need for an civil estimator to commence with our company to complete all estimating for our project, aswell as assisting site teams with delivery of our current projects

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Use of Expert Estimation software
• Take off's for new projects
• Confirm quantities against B.O.Q's provided
• Liase with clients during the tender process
• Hard dollar tender process
• Analyse drawings and specifications
• Handover projects to site teams once awarded
• Assist with the financial management of the projects during the construction process
• Ensure all paperwork for the project is provided prior to construction
• Formulate cost breakdown for project for progress reviews

Salary offer to be subject of experience level

The successful candiate will ideally demonstrate;

• Proven estimating ability
• Use of Expert Estimation / MudShark
• Strong understanding of the civil construction process
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong work ethic
• Professional Presentation
