- "site" means the internet website "bypass.net.au" and includes the products and services offered by Bypass
- "Bypass", "us", or "we", means Bypass (ABN 25 826 527 836) in its capacity as owner and controller of the site
- "you", "job seekers", and "employers" means the person or entity using the products and services on the site per their user type.
You understand and accept that in order to facilitate the recruitment process on your behalf, we will be forwarding your details to clients with which you have applied. In consultation with you, we may forward your application on to other employers that would suit your preferences.
Through the course of applying for roles on Bypass, your present employer may become aware of your application through no fault of Bypass. We make all attempts to mitigate this risk. You understand and accept that we are not responsible for any loss you may incur as a result of applying through Bypass.
You accept and acknowledge that while we will do our best to find a suitable career opportunity for you, Bypass does not guarantee that any employer will interview or hire any candidate.
Bypass will only post genuine opportunities on to the noticeboard. We do not guarantee the availability or vacancy of any job, as the employer is responsible for taking the job down once the placement is complete.
The accuracy of a job description is subject to your discussions with the employer. Bypass does not have responsibility on the quality or safety of the jobs advertised, and we are not liable for any claim arising from your dealings with employers.
Each job ad will attract a fee set out in the "Post Job Ad" section and will remain live on the site for 35 days or until requested by you to remove (whichever comes first). 1st Job Ad is 'Free' to list; however, successful placement would incur a placement fee (see clause 2). No links, emails, contact numbers or details of any sort can be included with Job Ads. At our discretion, Bypass will review and adjust/reject or approve job ads accordingly. Employers acknowledge and agree that they must only advertise one job role per job ad posted on Bypass.
Upon successful hire, you will be charged a fee equivalent to a percentage of the candidate's gross salary (inclusive of super). The fee for salaries is 5% or otherwise 8% for placements $200,000 incl. super and over, also subject to GST. For the purposes of calculating our fee the package includes base salary and all other benefits or allowances which represent remuneration in other forms, such as superannuation, site uplift, site allowances, bonuses, commissions etc. Motor vehicles provided to as a part of the remuneration will be included in the package or minimum allocation $10,000 per annum, likewise fuel card minimum allocation $5,000 per annum. Notwithstanding the fee structure above there is a minimum fee for any placement of $4,000 (plus GST) that will apply to any placement.
An invoice is generated the day we are informed the candidate has accepted the role and is strictly payable prior to commencing employment.
All applications are accepted under the strictest of confidentiality. Their information is not to be disclosed to any third party. While we make the best effort only to submit suitable candidates, we do not conduct reference checks on your behalf. The responsibility of determining candidate suitability lies with you as the potential employer.
If a candidate you have recruited permanently through Bypass leaves your employment within 4 weeks of the commencement date, we will endeavour to find a suitable replacement free of charge. This guarantee only relates to the specific role we have recruited, providing that termination is not due to change of job description, working conditions, change of location or retrenchment. The replacement guarantee only applies when our fee has been paid within (30) days of the invoice date. Should we be unable to provide a suitable replacement within 8 weeks of notification of the guarantee claim, or the client notifies Bypass that a replacement will not be required; a service fee of 50% of the original fee paid will apply. Bypass will provide you with the remaining 50% of the original fee in the form of a credit note. This credit note can be used to contribute to payment for any future services of Bypass which you may utilise and will be valid for 6 months from the date of the issue of the credit note. Where a replacement is recruited within, there will be no replacement guarantee period.
You must notify us if you employ any candidate put forward by us to you at any time during the recruitment process. Any candidate appointed within 12-months of introduction is subject to the placement fee listed above.
When submitting a job ad to Bypass, we acknowledge that your brand and position description is the property of you, the employer. We use this information to specifically attract and select job seekers who are suited to your company and role. To further promote your job ad, we may use your branding and job post on external services such as MailChimp, Seek, LinkedIn, etc.
The information provided by employers to Bypass is the responsibility of the employer. We are not liable for any errors or omissions in any job ads that you have posted.
We take your online safety seriously and make all efforts necessary to protect your details. We store usernames and passwords in a hashed/salted format and do not have access to them. Our site is secured via 256-bit SSL HTTPS protocol. Credit card details are stored and processed via eWay, a trusted external provider, with security that is near on impenetrable. We do not store credit card details in our database.
Should a database breach occur, we will notify you within 30 days of its discovery.
